WARRANTY & LIABILITY LIMITATIONS 

• All workmanship is warranted for 90 days from the date of service if the account is in good standing. Workmanship is warranted for 12 months from date of service for registered Comfort Club members with accounts in good standing. 

• All installed parts include manufacturer warranties only; no additional warranties are provided. 

• Warranty does not cover pre-existing conditions, equipment neglect, misuse, or issues caused by customer-installed products. 

• Jobsites require provision of safe and unobstructed access to all equipment and work areas. 

• The Company is not liable for secondary, incidental, or consequential damages, including property damage caused by pre-existing system defects, delays in part availability, or failures in equipment not installed by other parties. • Work performed on installed or serviced systems by the Company by anyone other than a licensed HVAC technician will result in parts and/or service warranty being voided. 

EMERGENCY AFTER-HOURS DISCLAIMER 

After-hours or weekend calls are billed at emergency rates, which the customer accepts when requesting service outside regular business hours 1.5x Standard Rate -After Hours Weekday– 4:30pm-8pm 

1.5x Standard Rate -During Weekend - Friday 4:30pm-8pm; 7am-8pm Saturday & Sunday 

2.0x Standard Rate -Overnight Rate - 8pm – 7am Weekday or Weekend 

2.0x Standard Rate -Statutory Holidays 

PAYMENT TERMS & METHODS 

  • Payment Due Upon Completion of Service 
  • Credit Card Payments: A 3% surcharge applies to all credit card payments Exception of Service Plan Monthly/Annual Subscriptions For Comfort Club Members 
  •  
  • Alternative Payment Methods: E-transfer, ETF (wire), Cash or Cheque 
  • Late Payment Charges: 2% per month for invoices that are overdue 10 Business Day Grace Period from Invoice Issuance Before Application of Late Fee 
  •  
  • Installation Deposits Deposit of 45% Minimum is Required for Equipment, Materials and Mobilization for Commercial/ Contractor Customers 
  • Deposit of 50% Minimum is Required for Equipment, Materials and Mobilization for Residential Customers 

DISPUTES 

Any disputed charges must be reported within 10 business days of invoice issuance. 

AUTHORIZATION STATEMENT 

By requesting and accepting service, the customer confirms that all work performed was authorized electronically via written consent, signature or verbally. Payment of the invoice constitutes acceptance that the work was completed as described. 

All work is performed in accordance with the Ontario Building Code, TSSA requirements, manufacturer specifications, and industry best practices in HVAC, Plumbing, and Mechanical services. 

COMFORT CLUB BENEFITS 

  • Participation in Comfort Club benefits is contingent upon the Customer Account being in good standing with respect to any outstanding invoices relative to corresponding payment terms. 

These Terms and Conditions apply to all operating businesses referenced company logo as well as referenced in this document as “The Company” under the registered Corporation 1964403 Ontario Inc. These referenced businesses include but not are limited to Veenstra + Lloyd’s, Green Acres and Thake Home Comfort Centre.
