Our Story
In 1992, Harry Veenstra founded Veenstra Plumbing on his family farm. When he retired, long-time employee Chris Walcott and his wife Jen took over, continuing Harry’s legacy.
In 2020, Chris expanded by purchasing Lloyd’s Heating and Cooling, a trusted local business since 1960. “The team at Lloyd’s was a big reason we bought it,” Chris shared. “I’d known some of the guys for years—it just felt right.”
Most recently, we were excited to welcome Green Acres Irrigation to our team, offering top-quality irrigation and outdoor lighting services throughout the region.
Today, we operate as one team, under one roof, delivering top-quality residential and commercial services across plumbing, wells, water treatment, heating, cooling, fireplaces, irrigation, and outdoor lighting.

Travis got his start in 2016, but plumbing has always been a part of his life. Now a Partner and Technical Services Manager, Travis enjoys tackling the tougher jobs, especially those that involve diagnosing and problem-solving.

With 41 years in the trade, Randy still loves the work just as much as when he started. He enjoys the mix of routine and variety…no two days are quite the same. From service calls to new installations, he’s seen it all.

Krenar
Plumber
With 20 years in the trade, Krenar was inspired to become a plumber by older friends who were already in the business. He’s always enjoyed the hands on nature of the work, and because he loves what he does, the years have flown by.
Cole
Plumbing Apprentice (2nd Year)
Cole has been in the trades for over 3 years. He was drawn in by the hard work and hands-on nature of plumbing, and hasn’t looked back since. When he’s not working, Cole’s either watching or playing hockey or expanding his Hot Wheels collection – one tiny car at a time.

Plumber
Julian knew early on that a desk job wasn’t for him – he wanted to work with his hands. Inspired by his father, plumbing was a natural path and the perfect fit. He loves that the work keeps his brain active and every day brings something new. When he’s not on the job, Julian enjoys relaxing at home with his wife and catching a good movie.

Todd has spent 35 years in the HVAC trade, inspired by a friend to get started. He enjoys meeting all kinds of people – though he always recommends putting the dog away first (he’s had a run-in or two on the job!).

Braden has been in the HVAC trade for 13 years. His uncle Lyle, the previous owner of Lloyd’s, helped pave the way, so joining the business felt like a natural fit. Braden loves the camaraderie of his team and enjoys solving problems on the job.

Nolan has been working alongside his dad, Chris (the company owner), since he was a kid, and looks up to his father as a mentor. As a leader, Nolan is passionate about helping his team grow – building their skills, confidence, and pride in their work. When he’s off the clock, you’ll find him surfing, fishing, golfing, or spending quality time with his girlfriend and family.
